Is this the first time Āreta and Trish have taken the boat out fishing. Yes/ No
How do you know?
Because it looked like they were professionals at it and
because it looked like they had done it for many times
because it looked like they had done it for many times
What do you think the author means by regular people when he says “...back when regular people
could still get petrol.”? They had to use sweat to get anywhere
could still get petrol.”? They had to use sweat to get anywhere
In this story, what exactly does the Forest refer to?
- Rubbish in the ocean
Where is this story set do you think?
- Panmure and Auckland city together
What are the clues that tell you this?
- Because I can see the sky tower and the mountain in the back of the sky tower
- reminds me of Panmure mountain
Why is Grandma Trish so excited to find a Kahawai again. What has happened to them?
- Because Kahawai was so rare only 30% of people could find them in the filthy water
Explain why you think this.
- I think this because when she found it in the filthy water she was so happy and
- she was
- planning to sell it to get money
Why do Trish and Āreta let the Kahawai go back into the water?
- So that there could be more kahawai for everyone and that there might even be a

Tha Zin All About Me
Mingalaba, Kia Ora, Hello and welcome to my blog my name is Tha Zin and I’m a year 6 student at Point England School. I live in Glen Innes, Auckland, New Zealand. I have a small family, I live with my mum and my brother. My mum’s name is Myat and my brother’s name is Maung Maung. I am Burmese and I was born in Malaysia.
My favourite food is Sushi it’s really delicious I eat it almost every weekend. My favourite color is blue and white because they are both light colors, and My favourite movie is Leap!. My favourite author’s are Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton, their books are really adventurous and spooky at times. In the weekends I like to go to the beach and have some fun with my family but I only do that in the summertime.
I like learning maths at school because I really love maths its really fun and it’s more easier for me than writing and reading. My school goal is to learn more times tables and to get better at literacy. Thank you for visiting my blog and following my learning journey. Please feel free to leave a positive comment.
