Tha Zin Last Day of Textile At Tamaki

For today's tech class which also is the very last class of Textile I'm kind of sad... but also very excited for the next tech class that we will be going to, I am pretty sure that they might be hardware or robotics it's one of them then for our last one I am pretty sure that we will be having cooking class I love saving the best for last! but keep coming on to my blog to check out more about tech.

Tha Zin Finishing Up Our Cushions!

Last term and a bit of this as you may already know we go to tamiki and the class that I go to there is textile, today we are finally going to finishing up our cushions and we will be getting to take it home!

I enjoyed learning the different techniques of sewing and the thing that I learnt while drawing out a cushion, cutting, learning to sew and sewing and putting wool inside of cushions I learnt a few things about the sewing machine, I normally just hand sew at home and I was quite excited that this term I got to experience using a sewing machine.

Overall I really enjoyed Textile and I am looking forward to the next class that we are going to and we are still going to be in Textile for about 2 more weeks but then we will be transferring to another class.

Tha Zin Last Day Of Textile For Term 1!

Hello!... as you may already know this year we started tech at Tamiki today is the last day of textile of term 1 and we will continue on with textile next term but we will only be doing textile next term for about 3 4 weeks, next term is when we will finally be sewing our cushions this term we didn't really get to sew our cushion that cut out in the beginning of the term. I will keep on writing blog posts about textile next term and will show how our cushions turn out!

WALT: learning how to sew and stitch at Textile Class 
TASK DESCRIPTION: Today is week 6 of textile at Tamaki College, today we started to do sew some patterns like zig zags and arrows and others. As you can see me and my partner didn't do so well but next week hopefully we will be sewing our cushion next week.

TASK DESCRIPTION: Today is week 4 of textile at Tamaki College, today we started using the sewing machine and we sewed on the lines that were on the paper. As you can see I didn't do so well but next week we will be working on our cushion.
