~Multiplication Magic 1~

  Multiplication Magic
We are learning to use place value to solve multiplication problems using whole numbers.

A factor is…. Things that you can multiply to make that number.

Factors of 24: 6,1,24,3,12

Factors of 30: 5,1,10,30,15,

A Multiple is…. Times x

Multiples of 6:  12,18,24,30,36,42,48,54,60

42 = 4 x 4 = 16

√49 = 7 x 7 = 49, answer 7

25 x 8 = 200
20 x 8 = 160
5 x 8 = 40

25 x 15 = 385
20 x 15 = 300
5 x 15 = 85

  Show your working under each problem:
