What Is Plastic Pollution??

What is Plastic Pollution??

Plastic pollution is the build up of plastic objects including plastic bottles, plastic utensils and etc. Because of plastic that ends up in the sea/ocean get eaten up by the marine animals. micro plastic smells like food to fish so they end up swallowing it in California and Indonesia ¼ of the fish is plastic and we end up eating the plastic that the fish has consumed.

Something that I can do for the plastic free July challenge which me and my friend Jedida are in a challenge where we cannot bring plastic to school, also since both of us don’t really use plastic utensils that is something we are avoiding. Since plastic is the most affordable item/object in the world there are many of them.

The biggest garbage patch is called the great pacific garbage patch or also known as GPGP, Gpgp sits in the eastern pacific ocean between California and Hawaii. You can help with the plastic pollution by trying the plastic free July challenge yourself, you can reduce your use of single use plastics or you can just stop using plastic. you can also go down to the beach with a rubbish bag and pick up some pieces of rubbish that is floating in the sea and also that are just laying on the sand. So would you like to give going plastic free a try??

Tha Zin Recording Of Hard Materials

I used a steel ruler, pencil and a piece of wood to make a full size working drawing of my box because on the drawing when we make a mistake we can always fix it but when we just start cutting the wood we cannot fix that. I used a steel ruler, pencil, wood and a tri-square to copy the measurements from my drawing onto the piece of wood we had to create our design. I then marked a square line (at 90°) across using the steel ruler and the pencil. I cut off the first piece of wood using a saw and a bench hook, I then marked out the joint so then I could cut it and use the chisel to get a join of the wood. After making my first joint I then made sure that my longer piece of wood had fit into the joint and at first it was very tight then I just carried on and made my second joint, both of them were very tight so I asked help and Mr Grundy cut a bit out of the joint and it fit perfectly. Later Mr Grundy out 2 piece of wood so that when we put all the pieces together they made a box, and now I'm waiting for the box to dry. The next step is the lid which Mr Grundy then got a MDF (medium density fibreboard) and cut it to the length of my box and the width of the outside of my box, he then got a piece of wood and cut it to the inside of my box. Now I'm waiting for the lid to dry because Mr Grundy put glue on so that they could stick together really well.

Tha Zin Word Problems Fraction

WALT: Solve problems with fractions, decimals and percentages.
TASK DESCRIPTION: In this presentation we had to solve the fraction problems that are on each slide. Once we knew how to solve one of the problem it was easy to solve the other ones.
